Kanye West isn’t letting mixed reviews about his line of women’s clothing discourage him.

Is he in? Or is he out?

After the "Power" rapper debuted his collection of women’s clothing at Paris Fashion Week on Saturday, style critics can’t decide. While the line has its supporters, those that don’t like it are really vocal about their bad reviews.

Kanye’s just using the jeers to fuel his passion for fashion, though. And, Women’s Wear Daily reports that during an afterparty he showed his detractors some love.

"Thank you for anybody that didn’t believe, because they motivated us to break our boundaries," he said to a crowd gathered to celebrate at Club Silencio. "We don’t know what the reviews will be, we don’t know what they will say, but I got a chance to go to Italy and feel those fabrics."

The Louis Vuitton Don is no novice to the world of high fashion as he’s worked with Louis Vuitton and M/M Paris in the past for different one-off lines of shoes and scarves. But this is the Chicago rapper’s first foray into women’s wear, so he’s calling on critics to give him a fair shot.

"I took out motherf*#king loans to get the best models, to get the best designers, to get the best venue. I gave you everything that I had," he explained. "This is my first collection. Please be easy. Please give me a chance to grow. This is not some celebrity s#!t. I don’t f*#k with celebrities. I f*#k with the creatives in this room, the amazing people who spend every day of their life trying to make the world a more beautiful place."

Kanye also thanked his supporters, sharing that he plans to expand his brand in fashion. "People thought it was a joke, and maybe people still do, but I can only grow from this point," he said.
