One Las Vegas college student has given the Disney princesses a makeover by turning them into women of color.

Move over, Princess Tiana! Up until 2009, Black women had been grossly under-represented in the Disney kingdom. With two movies set in Africa, there was not one princess that African-American girls could identify with.

That changed with The Princess and the Frog, which Black women loved even though the main characters spent much of the movie as amphibians.

But instead of waiting for the next Black Disney princess, a Tumblr user named Lauren simply gave the existing pantheon of princesses a little color.
